Location: Panmure, Auckland, New Zealand. Full-time, permanent afternoon shift, Monday to Friday from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, with flexibility for operational requirements. Applicants must have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying.

What you will do
- Coordinate transport and container depot operations during the afternoon shift.
- Plan and coordinate movements of full and empty containers between customers, ports, shipping lines, transport providers, and depots.
- Monitor truck movements, delays, cancellations, rejected units, and other operational issues, making real-time adjustments.
- Ensure bookings, job requests, and operational instructions are acknowledged and completed within agreed timeframes.
- Coordinate with drivers, contractors, depot teams, and transport providers to support safe and efficient job completion.
- Manage container movements booked through VBS while maintaining data accuracy and process compliance.
Requirements
- Approximately three years of experience in logistics, transport, dispatch, container control, depot operations, or a similar environment.
- Experience with transport planning, dispatch, or operational coordination.
- Strong organisational, planning, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of application.
Nice to have
- Experience with Transport Management Systems, ContainerChain, VBS, or similar systems.
- Experience working with drivers, transport providers, depots, ports, or shipping lines.
