Lead Piping Engineer (Offshore Subsea): Leading piping engineering activities for ADNOC offshore projects across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, brownfield modifications, and offshore facility upgrades with an accent on design approval, multidisciplinary integration, and compliance with ADNOC and international standards. Focus on resolving complex piping and interface issues, coordinating vendors and clients, and supporting construction, hookup, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite in the client or contractor office

What you will do
- Lead piping engineering activities for ADNOC offshore projects through FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, brownfield modifications, and facility upgrades.
- Review and approve piping philosophies, layouts, routing studies, specifications, support designs, stress reports, isometrics, and material take-offs.
- Coordinate piping interfaces with process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Plan engineering activities, resources, deliverables, risks, and project milestones.
- Coordinate with ADNOC representatives, PMC consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Support construction, offshore hookup, commissioning, start-up, field surveys, site queries, and NCR resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- 15–20 years of piping engineering experience in oil and gas projects, including at least 5 years as a Lead Piping Engineer.
- Extensive ADNOC Offshore, UAE Offshore, or major Middle East offshore project experience.
- EPC and detailed engineering experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, Section VIII, API, ASTM, MSS, ISO, and ADNOC Offshore standards.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SmartPlant 3D, E3D/PDMS, Caesar II, Navisworks, and MS Office.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in engineering.
- Brownfield and greenfield offshore facilities experience.
- MicroStation experience.
- Experience with offshore platforms, wellhead towers, central processing platforms, artificial islands, subsea tie-ins, gas processing, produced water, shutdown, or revamp projects.
