Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static) - Greenfield (Offshore Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for static equipment on offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Prepare and review design bases, specifications, datasheets, technical requisitions, calculations, fabrication drawings, and material selections.
• Review and approve designs for pressure vessels, separators, heat exchangers, columns, towers, filters, pig launchers and receivers, storage tanks, fired heaters, skids, and packages.
• Prepare technical bid evaluations, coordinate with vendors, and review vendor documentation through manufacturing, testing, and delivery.
• Interface with Process, Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Corrosion, and HSE disciplines; participate in HAZOP, HAZID, design, constructability, and model reviews.
• Provide fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning, FAT, pre-commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of mechanical engineering experience in Oil & Gas and 8 years in Offshore Greenfield Projects.
• Strong FEED and Detailed Engineering experience on offshore production facilities, process platforms, wellhead platforms, and associated facilities.
• Experience with ADNOC Offshore, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, or major EPC projects.
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3, API 510, API 650, API 660, API 661, API 620, TEMA, NACE, and ADNOC Engineering Standards.
• Technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, analytical problem-solving, mentoring, communication, and coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with Aspen EDR.
• ADNOC Offshore Greenfield, EPC/EPCM execution, and brownfield interface management experience.
