What you will do

• Oversee activities staff across independent living and assisted living areas.
• Plan and lead daily community programs, special events, resident trips, and holiday celebrations.
• Create inclusive programming that recognizes residents' individuality, diversity, spirituality, and dignity.
• Develop wellness opportunities across physical, social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, vocational, and environmental areas.
• Build partnerships with internal teams and external organizations to expand programs and events.
• Maintain monthly event calendars, newsletters, flyers, bulletin boards, digital signs, social media, and the resident ambassador program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Entry-level experience of 0–3+ years.
• Experience leading small or large group events.
• Acceptable fluency in English is required for speaking, reading, writing, and workplace communication.
• Competence with Microsoft Suite, Outlook Email, online learning portals, and social media.
• Positive, professional, enthusiastic, and encouraging approach when working with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Event planning and experience coordinating community partnerships.
• Experience leading small and large group programs.
• Specialty skills such as fitness certification, musical ability, or artistic skills.
