Advanced Data Analytics (Data Science)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week in the office or on client site, and potentially up to five days per week on client site.

What you will do

• Deliver advanced analytics, data science, mathematical modelling, and operational research solutions.
• Conduct problem formulation, exploratory data analysis, model design, development, testing, and handover.
• Translate client business needs into analytical approaches and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work according to agile practices with product, design, engineering, client, and cross-functional teams.
• Support data-centric decision making through analytical models, data engineering, big data, cloud, and dashboard solutions.

Requirements

• Degree, Master’s, or PhD in data science, mathematics, operational research, physics, or statistics.
• Professional experience conducting analysis, designing and developing models, and supporting evidence-based decision making.
• Experience across the full analytics and modelling lifecycle.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Excel, and data visualisation solutions.
• Experience leading or delivering advanced analytics, algorithm development, operational research, data engineering, big data, cloud, or dashboard solutions.
• Applicants must be British citizens or have at least five years of continuous UK residency to meet potential security-clearance requirements.

Nice to have

• Stakeholder management, project management, communication, consulting, or advisory experience.
• Experience across the software or product development lifecycle for analytical solutions.
• Experience presenting to clients and developing data or behavioural science propositions.

Hiring process
