What you will do

• Design, configure, implement, maintain, and sustain enterprise network and communications infrastructures.
• Maintain and optimize network protocols while integrating new technologies into existing architectures.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, DoD cybersecurity requirements, operational standards, and security directives.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network faults, outages, and performance issues.
• Maintain local integration and test networks for validating configurations and technologies.
• Integrate network and communications solutions into broader system architectures and create detailed design documentation.

Requirements

• Active US government Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• 3–7 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or sustainment.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, plus network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
• Experience with ISP circuits, WAN connectivity, IPSec VPN tunnels, and Layer 3 routing protocols including EIGRP and BGP.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGs, DoD cybersecurity requirements, and compliance processes.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification meeting DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II requirements.

Nice to have

• TS/SCI clearance.
• Government or DoD network environment experience.
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or similar platforms.
