What you will do

• Develop purchasing strategies and translate them into sourcing plans for teams and suppliers.
• Analyze part costs, raw materials, and production processes to establish price targets and reduce total supply chain costs.
• Manage supplier portfolios, capability assessments, classifications, performance evaluations, audits, and improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier quality, design-to-cost, design-for-manufacturing, and part standardization activities with Supplier Quality Engineering and Engineering teams.
• Manage framework agreements, pricing conditions, price lists, logistics agreements, and related purchasing documentation.
• Support global purchasing projects and new product development by controlling costs, timelines, and supplier participation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing and strategic purchasing, preferably in production environments.
• Understanding of production processes and commodities including electrical, pneumatic, rubber, fasteners, and catalogue components.
• Experience managing supplier quality, cost, and delivery performance; Supplier Quality Engineering experience is advantageous.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively across an international matrix organization.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Materials Management modules, and Microsoft Office; fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
