Procurement Engineer

Location: Full-time onsite role for a major project in Egypt

What you will do

• Procure technical goods and services required for the project.
• Prepare inquiry packages, source suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate quotations, create comparative statements, and participate in negotiations.
• Coordinate and monitor deliveries, materials, equipment, services, and related documentation against schedules, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Follow up logistics, shipment, delivery, warehousing, and shipping documentation.
• Apply Incoterms and shipping terms throughout the procurement cycle.
• Support tendering activities, supplier assessments, procurement documentation, and compliance with company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Civil or Architecture Engineering is preferred.
• 3–6 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction, engineering, procurement, or project operations.
• Solid experience working with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, shipping processes, and procurement procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Office skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English and availability to work onsite in Egypt are required.
