Branch Claim Representative (Insurance)

Location: Lake Elmo, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid work may be available after initial in-person training through the merit-based work-from-home program.

Salary: $50,000–$81,500 per year, plus potential bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle entry-level insurance claims under close supervision.
• Review insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to build knowledge of company insurance products.
• Communicate with agents, insureds, claimants, legal counsel, and third parties throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Develop estimating and computer-based loss-adjustment skills.
• Complete the company’s claims training program and maintain required adjuster licenses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct experience in property and casualty claims handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and correspondence.
• Ability to organize data, multitask, make independent decisions, and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work accurately with geometry, mathematical calculations, unit costs, and financial documents.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive an automobile, and a driving record meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
