M&A Associate (Tech) - SCIB

What you will do

• Develop insights on technology-sector dynamics, valuation trends, capital flows, strategic and sponsor activity, public markets, and emerging subsectors.
• Prepare and quality-control pitch books, strategic reviews, management presentations, information memoranda, board materials, investor presentations, and internal approval documents.
• Build and review complex operating models, DCFs, trading comparables, precedent transactions, merger models, accretion/dilution analyses, sensitivities, and scenario-based valuations.
• Own execution workstreams across M&A, strategic advisory, and equity-led processes, coordinating timelines, due diligence, clients, advisors, and internal teams.
• Mentor and manage Analysts and interns while maintaining execution standards and reviewing work products.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of investment banking or M&A/corporate finance advisory experience in a leading investment bank, global financial institution, elite boutique, or top-tier advisory platform.
• Demonstrated transaction execution experience, workstream leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver under demanding timelines.
• Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, transaction structuring, financial modeling, and valuation.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to produce client-ready materials.
• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record; finance, economics, business administration, engineering, computer science, or another quantitative background is relevant.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in software, fintech, digital infrastructure, or technology-enabled services.
• Additional postgraduate qualifications, CFA progress, or technical training in financial modeling.
• Familiarity with Capital IQ, FactSet, Refinitiv, Mergermarket, Bloomberg, PitchBook, Dealroom, S&P, Infralogic, or similar tools.
• Additional language skills.
