Electrical Engineer (C#)

Location: Moorpark, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the development, validation, and troubleshooting of Electronics Support Equipment and Special Test Equipment.
• Program automated test stands in C# under the .NET environment for electromechanical devices.
• Integrate power supplies, multimeters, electronic loads, data acquisition units, and other laboratory instruments.
• Connect test systems with SQL databases and support software updates for development and production testing.
• Provide sustaining engineering, interpret test results, investigate failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform verification and validation against technical requirements and complete schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium Designer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• At least 3 years of related engineering experience.
• Required experience with C#/.NET, computer interfacing with electronic instrumentation, Microsoft SQL, and database design.
• Experience developing automated test software for electronic products and using standard laboratory equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and DMMs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, analyze mechanical and electrical requirements and data, and troubleshoot engineering problems.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for collaboration with teammates, technicians, management, and customers.

Nice to have

• Aerospace test laboratory or production experience.
• Altium Designer, MATLAB, or MathCAD experience.
• Production-floor troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action experience.
• Experience designing test boxes, soldering, assembly, PCB assembly, or electromechanical assembly.
• Knowledge of IPC, J-STD specifications, and analog circuit board design and troubleshooting.
