Company

hirify.global develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end design of complex digital and mixed-signal electronics modules and small systems, from architecture and schematics through PCB layout, testing, production, and delivery.
  • Develop hardware for software-defined radios, single-board computers, and control and telemetry subsystems for phased-array antenna payloads.
  • Lead small teams developing multi-module electronics products and define hardware architecture and requirements.
  • Perform schematic design, Altium PCB layout, high-speed routing, HDI stackup design, and board- and box-level analysis.
  • Develop bring-up and verification plans, conduct laboratory validation, debug hardware, and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Release assemblies to production, collaborate with manufacturing, test, software, and mechanical engineering teams, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and testing.
  • Expertise in digital and mixed-signal electronics, FPGA implementation, ADCs/DACs, telemetry subsystems, and complex board design.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Altium and experience with high-density, high-speed PCB layout.
  • Experience with signal integrity or power integrity simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave, ADS SIPro, or Mentor HyperLynx.
  • Extensive laboratory bring-up and verification experience, strong debugging skills, and excellent written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading teams developing multi-module assemblies.
  • High-speed digital electronics experience, including 10+ Gbps SerDes, simulation, laboratory verification, and optimization.
  • Software-defined radio experience.
  • Experience with high-reliability space or defense electronics, radiation environments, part derating, worst-case analysis, or thermal constraints.

Culture & Benefits

  • Hands-on, autonomous work in a dynamic and cross-functional startup environment.
  • Direct contribution to challenging, high-impact aerospace products.
  • Full-time employment with company stock options.
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life, disability, and retirement plans.
