Lead Data Strategist (Data Architecture)

Location: Charlotte, NC, USA; employees must be available to work onsite at a client location or hirify.global office as requested, with remote work permitted when compatible with client and company needs.

What you will do

• Advise client technology and business leaders on data management, analytics, and strategic initiatives.
• Translate ambiguous business concepts into actionable insights and plans for data integration, quality, and delivery.
• Assess data management technologies and modern data architectures, and recommend solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Lead technical and consulting delivery, including solution planning, estimation, and team composition recommendations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop consultants and technical team members.
• Support business development, account management, thought leadership, and multiple client engagements.

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience leading large technical teams and projects.
• 10+ years implementing on-premises and cloud data management platforms and technologies.
• Experience assessing traditional and modern data architectures using a consultative approach.
• Delivery experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern data stack technologies.
• Experience with data integrations and transformations, real-time distribution technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, and Flink, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing platforms.
• At least 5 years of scoping technical engagements in consulting services.
