Project Manager

Location: Vienna, VA, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $105,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage commercial construction projects across budgeting, bidding, cost control, client relations, and closeout.
• Prepare RFP responses, presentations, accurate budgets, lump-sum bids, scope reviews, and trade partner bid leveling.
• Monitor project financials, general conditions, labor, monthly billing, change pricing, forecasts, receivables, and project buyout.
• Coordinate internal teams, trade partners, design teams, clients, superintendents, and frequent site visits to monitor onsite progress.
• Manage subcontracts, insurance certificates, document control, punch lists, owner documentation, and financial closeout.
• Support business development, client relationship management, mentoring, and supervision of Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Interns.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of construction project management experience, including 2–3 years in commercial construction.
• Prior experience working for a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience with estimating, documentation, owner and architect relations, cost monitoring, problem-solving, and project wrap-up.
• Strong estimating, budgeting, project financial management, drawing review, and computer skills.
• Exceptional oral, written, communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, including the ability to work with high-end clients.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering is preferred; equivalent strong work experience may be considered.
