Program Management Analyst, Journeyman (DoD)

Location: Patuxent River, Maryland, United States; support for a program office at Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

Salary: $76,000–$86,000 per year.

What you will do

• Apply analytical techniques to evaluate program and project objectives.
• Analyze requirements, program status, budgets, schedules, and business cases.
• Collect, organize, complete, and interpret data for aircraft, weapon, project acquisition, and product programs.
• Track program and project status, schedules, deliverables, and performance.
• Apply government processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
• Develop program-level briefs and communicate status and issues to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, finance, accounting, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience or an associate degree plus additional experience may substitute.
• Three to ten years of experience as a program, project, or management analyst supporting the Department of Defense.
• Experience with program management, integrated product team leadership, or operational fleet work connected to cost, schedule, and performance management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including program-level brief development.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, interpersonal, customer service, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance are required; eligibility for access to classified information and completion of a full background investigation are required.
