Project Manager (Web Applications)

Location: Fully remote, with significant overlap required with US-based time zones; candidates in North or South America are strongly preferred.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 USD per year, depending on experience and fit.

Tighten is a small, US-based remote software agency specializing in web application development, team development, and rescuing existing applications and teams.

What you will do

• Lead weekly internal status meetings, client meetings, and client-facing team communication.
• Manage project workflow and strategy from start to finish across 1–4 concurrent projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to development, budgets, resources, schedules, clients, and teams.
• Capture detailed client requirements and maintain a shared source of truth for tasks and deliverables.
• Provide direction and support to project teams while building positive relationships with colleagues and client contacts.
• Learn Tighten’s systems and processes, shadow an experienced project manager, and progress toward independently leading a project within two to three months.

Requirements

• Ability to overlap significantly with US-based time zones.
• Strong preference for candidates located in North or South America.
• 1–3 years of client-facing project management experience or similar client-facing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Problem-solving, critical-thinking, planning, attention to detail, and willingness to learn independently.
• Familiarity with development projects or prioritization management; technical expertise can be learned on the job.
