Sr. Analyst, Audit, Attestations & Governance (Cybersecurity)

Salary: CAD 80,000–100,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate internal and external audit requests, gather evidence, and facilitate stakeholder discussions.
• Execute control assessments and compliance reviews, including evaluation of control design and operating effectiveness.
• Perform IT vendor risk assessments and review third-party control reports.
• Validate control deficiencies and track remediation activities through completion.
• Assess technology risks, recommend mitigation actions, and support governance for cloud and security environments.
• Enhance compliance reporting tools and dashboards and identify process-efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in IT risk, compliance, or audit.
• Experience supporting SOX and IT audits, ITGC testing, NIST assessments, and the SWIFT Customer Security Programme.
• Experience with cloud and security governance, cloud audits, and cloud risk assessments.
• Experience reviewing SOC 1/SOC 2 reports and coordinating audits.
• Knowledge of IT control frameworks, GRC platforms such as OneTrust and AuditBoard, cloud risks, and security vulnerability management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in IT vendor risk management or third-party assessments.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or accounting.
• CISA or CISSP certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
