Supervisor, Global Banks Risk Consulting (IT Risk)

Location: Toronto, Canada; ability to work collaboratively in person or remotely

Compensation: $75,000–$129,600 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead technology risk consulting projects for complex global banking organizations.
• Oversee fieldwork, risk assessments, audit plan execution, control testing, and review of client deliverables.
• Assess IT policies, procedures, application controls, infrastructure controls, risks, and operational effectiveness.
• Interpret and present findings, observations, recommendations, and remediation guidance to business and IT stakeholders.
• Manage multiple clients, projects, teams, project economics, billing expectations, and collections.
• Mentor staff, delegate work, provide feedback, support recruiting, and contribute to proposals and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management information systems, computer and information science, accounting, or a related discipline.
• At least four years of experience in IT risk management, external or internal IT audit, IT security, or IT compliance serving large global banking institutions.
• Experience leading project-based work, teams, mentoring activities, performance feedback, and workload monitoring.
• Understanding of regulations, standards, and frameworks including FFIEC, SOX, COSO, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, and GLBA.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to travel for client needs and collaborate with others in person or remotely.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in public accounting or a professional services firm.
• CPA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIPP certification.
