Location: Field-based within the assigned Carolinas territory; candidates must reside in the territory and live within reasonable driving distance of a major commercial airport. Frequent regional and national travel is required, with travel of up to 50–80%.
Salary: $190,000–$225,000 USD base pay annually for the MA pay range.

What you will do
- Support patients and caregivers throughout the treatment journey through individualized education, proactive outreach, and care coordination.
- Provide education on reimbursement, prior authorizations, appeals, denials, reauthorizations, and site-of-care requirements.
- Identify and escalate access, adherence, reimbursement, and treatment coordination barriers through approved channels.
- Build relationships with healthcare providers, office staff, infusion centers, specialty pharmacies, and HUB services.
- Support infusion center readiness, including product storage, handling, preparation, and administration requirements.
- Document activities accurately, report adverse events and product complaints, and ensure compliance with privacy, regulatory, and company requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, or a related healthcare field preferred; RN, social worker, or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
- 8+ years of healthcare or related experience, including 5+ years in patient services, reimbursement, case management, field education, specialty pharmacy, or care coordination.
- Working knowledge of payer coverage, reimbursement pathways, prior authorizations, appeals, and denials.
- Strong communication, organizational, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- Residence within the assigned Carolinas territory and proximity to a major commercial airport are required.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned geography, up to 50–80%, and support patient and provider needs outside standard business hours.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting specialty, rare disease, or infused/provider-administered therapies.
- Experience with patient access, treatment initiation, infusion scheduling, or treatment interruptions.
