Senior Medical Science Liaison (DMD)

Location: Fully remote, covering the Southeast United States; candidates must have access to major airports in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida. Travel of at least 75% of workdays is required, with potential support throughout the United States.

Salary: $200,000–$210,000 base salary per year, depending on experience, professional licensing, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with DMD key opinion leaders, scientific experts, study groups, study sites, healthcare providers, and payer decision-makers.
• Deliver balanced medical, scientific, clinical, health economics, and pharmacoeconomic presentations and discussions.
• Support regional and national advisory boards, including presentation delivery, slide review, and facilitated discussions.
• Support Catalyst-sponsored clinical trials through scientific discussions, investigator meetings, referral-network analysis, and identification of enrollment barriers.
• Provide clinical and value-based input into communications and materials, and deliver internal training on study updates, congress news, and scientific developments.
• Train and mentor new medical science liaisons, regional account managers, marketing colleagues, and commercial colleagues.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in medicine or biosciences, such as M.D., D.O., Ph.D., or PharmD.
• At least five years of clinical research, pharmacy, life sciences, pharmaceutical industry, or related academic experience; relevant fellowship experience may count.
• At least five years of Medical Science Liaison experience, preferably in DMD or rare diseases.
• Current neurology relationships in the DMD therapeutic space and demonstrated DMD experience.
• Strong scientific, pharmaceutical, presentation, teaching, written, verbal communication, strategic thinking, and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work compliantly across Medical, Commercial, Marketing, and Payer functions and to work outside normal hours when required for advisory boards, congresses, and related activities.
