Product Manager for Maritime (Autonomous Maritime Systems): Developing software-defined maritime capabilities and mission-critical sensor suites for modular autonomous surface and subsea platforms with an accent on sensor integration, product lifecycle ownership, and defence compliance. Focus on leading SITL, HITL, and hardware/software integration testing, translating NATO operational requirements into scalable platforms, and driving products from prototype to deployment and customer acceptance.

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end development of software-defined maritime capabilities and mission-critical sensor suites.
- Lead the integration of advanced sensors and autonomous software with Systems Engineering, Project Delivery, and Operations teams.
- Define and drive product testing strategies covering Software-in-the-Loop, Hardware-in-the-Loop, and full hardware/software integration.
- Manage the product lifecycle from prototype through deployment and customer acceptance.
- Conduct market analysis to identify platform opportunities for NATO allied forces.
- Maintain safety and compliance standards while communicating product vision and milestones to stakeholders and defence partners.
Requirements
- Technical degree in Maritime Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Experience delivering complex maritime or defence systems through product management.
- Understanding of maritime operations and sensor integration.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate regulatory requirements.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.
- CV submitted in English.
Nice to have
- Experience with naval projects or autonomous and robotic platforms.
- Background in defence technology or rapid-growth aerospace.
- Experience using a V-model while maintaining an agile development pace.
