Marking Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Laconia, New Hampshire, United States. First shift: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM. Second shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM.

Aerospace manufacturing operations focused on accurately labeling parts and assemblies using multiple marking methods.

What you will do

• Interpret engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Apply Electro-Etch, laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, and ink markings to parts, test pieces, and assemblies.
• Scan barcodes or manually enter identification data into the computer.
• Transfer ink markings and prepare, apply, and assemble aluminum and stainless-steel tags.
• Install shrink sleeves over markings when required.
• Perform hands-on work requiring standing, walking, reaching, close vision, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers.
• Ability to work consistently and reliably according to the assigned shift schedule.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands for handling and fine manipulation, and adjust visual focus.
