Transportation Coordinator

Location: 100 Duchaine Blvd, New Bedford, MA 02745, USA; onsite, full-time

Salary: $27–$30 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Provide clerical and administrative support for material recovery route operations.
• Create daily driver route plans and communicate pickups, equipment assignments, paperwork, and essential updates.
• Track material inventories, commodity shipments, and loads using IFS.
• Coordinate billing cycles, bridge reports, service execution records, and order numbers for RC deliveries.
• Compare driver pickup information with unload data and audit third-party processor operations for accuracy.
• Coordinate communication among customer service, sales, customer accounts, drivers, the Operations Manager, and the Transportation Supervisor.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of clerical or administrative experience.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Transportation experience or knowledge is preferred.
