Senior Civil Engineer (8+ years)

Location: Spokane, Washington, United States. Hybrid flexibility is available for consideration, and full remote work can be negotiated.

Salary: $106,000–$134,000+ per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Apply civil engineering expertise to challenging site development projects.
• Design and prepare grading, stormwater management, utility, site, and public improvement plans.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and technical studies.
• Manage design, permitting, and construction administration activities.
• Lead projects independently and coordinate with clients, jurisdictions, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor civil engineers and designers while supporting energy- and sustainability-focused projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, engineering, environmental science, or physics.
• Current registration as a Civil Professional Engineer (PE).
• At least 8 years of civil engineering site development experience.
• Experience with design, permitting, construction administration, hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, technical studies, and civil plan preparation.
• Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate effectively with clients, jurisdictions, and multidisciplinary teams.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
