Pressure Test Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities

Location: Onsite at 93 Lexington Drive, Laconia, New Hampshire, United States

Shifts: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–3:15 PM; or 2nd shift, Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM. Second-shift employees receive a $1.00 shift differential and must be able to train on the 1st shift.

STS Aerospace supports the manufacture and quality testing of aerospace components and assemblies.

What you will do

• Perform pressure tests according to customer-specified PSI and time limits.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of materials, components, tube details, assemblies, and finished products.
• Verify conformance with blueprints, customer instructions, and company operating requirements.
• Select appropriate fittings, feeds, and caps for each test.
• Lift, position, connect, disconnect, and remove work pieces from the pressure test tank.
• Monitor tests for bubble formation, seepage, or water droplets while using tank interlocks and safety mechanisms.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training may qualify.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear during work activities.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Reliable, consistent, and punctual attendance.
