Field Service Engineers Midlands (Recycling Technology)

Location: Corby Gate, Corby NN17 5JG, UK; field-based travel throughout the Midlands and occasional overnight stays required. Full-time work with occasional approved overtime and weekend coverage; from October 2027, the role transitions to a rota-based shift pattern including weekends.

Salary: GBP 35,000–GBP 40,000 per year

What you will do

• Install, commission, maintain, optimise, and repair hirify.global reverse vending machines at customer sites.
• Support the installation and UK-wide rollout of new recycling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete preventative and reactive repairs.
• Build professional relationships with customers and site contacts while providing responsive technical support.
• Travel throughout the region, manage service schedules, and record machine status and service activities in digital systems.
• Follow hirify.global Safe and LOTO procedures, share improvement feedback, and maintain high safety standards.

Requirements

• Foundation in electro-mechanical systems and an interest in analysing, testing, and repairing complex equipment.
• Curious, solution-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
• Clear and confident communication with a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfortable using power tools and hand tools independently and within a supportive team.
• Flexibility to travel, manage an independent schedule, and work occasional overtime and weekends.
• Full UK driving licence required.
