Senior Test Automation Engineer (EV Charging)

Location: Remote work from any location in Hungary, with occasional office presence in Budapest and travel to Germany or elsewhere in Europe for 1–4 weeks per year as needed

What you will do

• Drive test activities within an interdisciplinary Scrum team for a B2B web portal.
• Lead frontend testing activities across three web portal teams and align test methodologies.
• Design, implement, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases.
• Automate functional, integration, and regression tests for microservices, web applications, and web services.
• Report bugs, retest software changes, and support troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Developers, Test Management, and international colleagues in a SAFe-based development program.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience and 5+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Engineer.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
• Experience with test automation for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript and SQL and/or non-SQL database querying.
• Fluent English and experience with Scrum or Kanban; SAFe experience is beneficial.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification is required, with Agile Tester certification beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright, or willingness to build this knowledge quickly.
• Experience in the electric vehicle charging industry.
