Sr. Engineer, R&D Software Quality (AI)

What you will do

• Define test strategies, testing scope, quality risks, and detailed test plans from product requirements and engineering specifications.
• Architect, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, scripts, and libraries for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Apply AI-assisted approaches to test design, script development, failure analysis, maintenance, and quality improvement.
• Test microservices-based solutions through functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Investigate failures using application logs, test environments, service behavior, databases, and SQL, and drive corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance, training, reviews, and feedback to less experienced engineers while collaborating with development, DevOps, database, systems, product, and quality teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of software quality engineering or software testing experience.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining automated tests for web, API, or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and automation tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Playwright, or comparable technologies.
• Professional fluency in English and strong analytical, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally if required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Polarion, Scaled Agile Framework practices, DevOps, cloud solutions, microservices, or regulated software environments.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and current Good Practice requirements.
