TL;DR
SPS QA QC Lead (Subsea Production Systems/Oil & Gas): Leading the implementation of the SPS Package Quality Management System and quality strategy across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and installation with an accent on vendor surveillance, audits, inspections, and certification. Focus on managing NCRs and CAPA, coordinating third-party inspections, and completing quality dossiers and manufacturing record books for major EPC/EPCI projects.
Location: UK based initially in Montrose and/or Bristol, with frequent global travel and relocation to Baku, Azerbaijan, for the installation phase.

What you will do
- Lead implementation of the SPS Package Quality Management System and develop the overall quality strategy.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.
- Review and approve Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, and quality documentation.
- Oversee contractor, subcontractor, and vendor quality performance across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and installation.
- Coordinate vendor surveillance, third-party inspections, certifications, audits, inspections, NCRs, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quality KPIs, report to project management, and ensure completion of Quality Dossiers, Manufacturing Record Books, and certification packages.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 10 years working with Subsea Production Systems.
- Previous QA/QC Lead or quality management experience on major EPC/EPCI projects.
- Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, umbilicals, and control systems.
- Experience managing vendor surveillance and manufacturing quality across global locations.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and international standards including API, ISO, and DNV.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
Nice to have
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent certification.
- Previous TotalEnergies project experience.
- Experience in multicultural, international project environments.
