IT Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365 & Azure)

Location: Troy, MI, USA; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support selected Azure services and improve the cloud and end-user technology environment.
• Provide helpdesk and escalated troubleshooting support.
• Deliver production support for IT systems in office and automotive manufacturing environments.
• Partner with the IT Manager to translate business needs into stable, supportable technical solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or cloud infrastructure.
• 2+ years administering Microsoft 365 and Azure in a production environment.
• Strong experience with Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, and Intune.
• Working knowledge of networking, storage, virtual machines, monitoring, and backup.
• Experience supporting both office users and production-floor environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, together with strong documentation and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, SC-300, or MD-102.
• Experience with hybrid identity and Entra Connect/Azure AD Connect.
• Familiarity with ITIL, ticketing systems, change management, backup and disaster recovery, or vendor management.
