Director of Career Services - Concord

Location: Onsite at the Concord, California campus, USA

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead daily Career Services operations, team productivity, graduate follow-up, employer outreach, placement activity, and service responsiveness.
• Set performance expectations, review metrics, and drive employment outcomes, career-readiness completion, employer engagement, and accurate documentation.
• Coach, develop, hire, onboard, and manage Career Services staff, including conflict resolution and performance accountability.
• Build employer relationships and hiring pipelines for externship-to-hire, clinical-to-hire, and direct-hire opportunities in nursing and allied health.
• Perform frontline Career Services Advisor duties when needed and partner with academic, clinical, campus, and corporate stakeholders.
• Maintain audit-ready graduate, employment verification, employer activity, waiver, and student engagement records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience and demonstrated leadership success may be considered.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in staffing, recruiting, sales, business development, employer relations, career services, admissions, campus operations, or another performance-driven environment.
• At least 3 years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, conflict resolution, and accountability for team results.
• Demonstrated success leading a metric-driven team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication, business development, judgment, organization, follow-through, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally for employer visits and events.

Nice to have

• Experience with CampusVue or CampusNexus, Power BI, CRM, or case management systems.
• Postsecondary, healthcare, ACCSC, or ABHES experience.
