Project Engineer Data Center (Construction)

What you will do

• Attend and document project meetings, maintain electronic files, drawings, specifications, logs, and record sets.
• Assist with CPM scheduling, procurement, submittals, expediting, and subcontractor document distribution.
• Document field problems, maintain PCI and change-order records in CMiC, and prepare extra work orders and quantity surveys.
• Support cost control through time-sheet coding, accounts payable workflows, estimate quantity verification, and labor cost reporting.
• Maintain site-specific safety planning, quality management systems, progress photos, punch lists, and contract closeout documents.
• Perform basic building information modeling and model administration.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or mechanical/electrical engineering; a construction management certificate or equivalent experience is also acceptable.
• 1–3 years of construction-related experience or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting, estimating, scheduling, plans, and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organization, independent judgment, initiative, and basic computer skills.
• Full-time onsite work in Atlanta, GA.

Nice to have

• Construction internship or field experience, such as carpentry.
• Drafting and advanced computer skills.
• Knowledge of virtual construction technology systems.
