Project Engineer (Construction)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Maintain and update CPM schedules, master drawing sets, reports, forms, and field-purchase documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and arrange equipment and materials under the direction of the Project Superintendent.
• Track submittals and shop drawings to ensure timely submission and review them for compliance with contract documents.
• Analyze construction documents and drawings, identify discrepancies with field conditions, and communicate findings to the Architect, Project Superintendent, and Project Manager.
• Prepare RFIs as directed and participate in pre-trade, subcontractor, and OAC meetings.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of the construction industry and fundamental business activities and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
• Understanding of the interdependence between construction and other functional units.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage teams across varied disciplines.
• Four-year degree in construction management or engineering, or equivalent technical training and related experience.
