Associate Manager, Site Operational Excellence (Manufacturing)

Location: USA - OH - Ashland; onsite, full-time

Salary: $90,200–$124,100 annually

What you will do

• Lead and coach site Operational Excellence teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
• Lead Kaizen events, focus improvement projects, and root-cause problem-solving initiatives.
• Deploy the Operational Excellence model and ensure implementation plans, stakeholder check-ins, and sustainability tracking are completed.
• Deliver continuous improvement training for site leadership, frontline leaders, and employees.
• Track cost-saving projects, Zero Loss analysis, enabler savings, and long-term countermeasures.
• Advise the site Director and leadership team while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, Quality, Finance, Human Resources, and Logistics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of cross-functional experience in manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and business skills.
• Ability to coach teams, influence stakeholders, and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in science, business management, or engineering.
• Four or more years of cross-functional manufacturing experience with strong knowledge of Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, Minitab, Excel, and ERP systems such as SAP.
