Senior Manager, Market Intelligence (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite at the San Jose, California headquarters 5 days a week, with approximately 10% travel per month.

Base pay range: $176,000–$280,000 USD annually, plus incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Develop foundry market models and wafer and revenue demand estimates across semiconductor industry verticals.
• Monitor competitors and industry players by analyzing earnings calls, customer inventory, segment growth, and other market indicators.
• Work with account managers on customer demand validation, opportunity sizing, and total addressable market analysis.
• Analyze macroeconomic and microeconomic trends and their impact on the foundry business.
• Create market research reports, presentations, and executive- and board-level strategic analyses.
• Establish processes, systems, and models for an efficient market intelligence function.

Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience with a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years with a master’s degree, or 7+ years with a PhD in electrical engineering, physics, or a related physical science.
• Professional experience in the semiconductor industry, including exposure to foundry, design services, ASIC, EDA, or IP businesses.
• Strong analytical experience and expert-level forecasting and modeling skills.
• Understanding of the foundry, ASIC, OSAT, switching, and routing semiconductor landscapes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to present recommendations to executives.
• Strong program management, problem-solving, collaboration, curiosity, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Background as a sell-side semiconductor equity research analyst.
• Master’s degree in a business discipline combined with an engineering-related degree.
