Director, Business & Operational Analytics (AI)

Location: San Jose, California; onsite, with remote work not available

Annual pay range: $216,000–$270,000 USD, plus eligibility for bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Build a performance-management system covering operational health, KPIs, leading indicators, targets, ownership, and accountability.
• Establish NPI health and execution analytics for velocity, readiness, cost, margin, quality, risk, and post-launch performance.
• Integrate data across Finance, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, and IT/Data to support fact-based decisions.
• Define the target operating model and build a high-performing Business & Operational Analytics organization.
• Apply data, analytics, and AI to simplify, standardize, automate, and transform business processes.
• Scale common performance and operational intelligence standards, systems, and mechanisms across the Power Products Group.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Operations, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in business or operational analytics, engineering operations, NPI, transformation, strategy, or related fields.
• Experience building business performance-management or operational analytics capabilities and teams from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of NPI or product development, operational execution, business acumen, and the connection between operational performance and financial outcomes.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior executives and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

• Semiconductor, electronics, hardware, or high-tech industry experience.
• Experience with advanced analytics, predictive modeling, AI, or machine learning.
• Experience scaling capabilities from a business unit to an enterprise.
• Experience with modern data platforms, BI tools, enterprise systems, or agentic AI technologies.
