Semiconductor & Technology Hardware Analyst (AI)

Location: Full-time, in-person in New York City

Base salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus and meaningful early-stage equity.

What you will do

• Design semiconductor and technology hardware coverage, including tracked markets, companies, value-chain stakeholders, and research questions.
• Analyze proprietary datasets to identify trends across semiconductors, EDA, semiconductor equipment, AI infrastructure, data centers, and hardware supply chains.
• Develop forward-looking analyses of silicon demand, foundry transitions, advanced packaging, HBM capacity, lead times, inventory, and data center constraints.
• Publish research and thought leadership for newsletters and client communications.
• Present actionable insights to investors and corporate strategy teams through calls, webinars, and events.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to improve the AI-native research methodology and platform.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience creating data-driven research in equity research, financial analysis, market research, or consulting.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductors and technology hardware, including EDA, foundries, advanced packaging, semiconductor equipment, data centers, networking, and compute hardware.
• Understanding of semiconductor investment metrics such as utilization, bookings, lead times, channel inventory, and consensus comparisons.
• Strong long-form and short-form writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with investors and corporate strategy clients.
• Experience managing and analyzing large datasets; SQL experience is strongly preferred.
• Comfort experimenting with AI tools and agents to automate analysis and improve research depth.
