What you will do

• Set up and operate large CNC mills, horizontal and vertical lathes, machining centers, and horizontal boring machines.
• Prepare fixtures, tools, inserts, chucks, heads, cutters, and other machine-specific equipment.
• Establish reference points, set offsets, preset tools, and perform trial runs or program prove-outs.
• Machine ferrous and non-ferrous metals to specified tolerances using drawings and process documents.
• Perform deburring, work checks, tool presetting, and other in-cycle duties.
• Maintain machine files, programs, fixtures, tooling, cleanliness, and daily maintenance checks.

Requirements

• Ability to set up and operate large CNC machine tools.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, process documents, programs, and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use gages, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to handle medium-weight materials manually and heavier materials using a hoist or crane.
• Availability to work the 3rd shift onsite in Beloit, Wisconsin.
