Principal, Credit Strategy & Management

Location: New York, New York; full-time, with no remote or hybrid arrangement stated.

Base salary: $200,000–$250,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead high-priority cross-platform initiatives across the Credit platform, translating ambiguous requests into analysis, recommendations, and executable plans.
• Partner with senior leadership to identify commercial opportunities, develop investment cases, and establish measurable growth targets.
• Design and implement organizational changes, governance structures, operating workflows, and decision rights.
• Establish data ownership and accountability while progressing toward a single source of truth for Credit data.
• Build scalable processes for deal inputs, resource management, planning, and other platform operations through standardization and automation.
• Advance AI adoption in diligence, underwriting, and monitoring, while resolving platform issues and ensuring durable execution.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in credit, investing, investment banking, private equity or credit, corporate strategy, or a similarly rigorous environment.
• Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, KPI frameworks, and rapid fact-base development.
• Ability to independently manage ambiguous, high-stakes workstreams and multiple concurrent priorities.
• Strong commercial judgment, executive communication, structured writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive cross-functional execution through influence without authority and ensure follow-through.
• High integrity and discretion when working with senior leadership and confidential priorities.
