Installer/Carpenter

Location: Hawthorne, New York, USA; onsite

Salary: $19–$22 per hour, plus available overtime; average total earnings of $950–$1,250 per week.

What you will do

• Build and install custom closet systems, wall units, entertainment centers, garage units, and home offices.
• Complete projects accurately within specified time and budget requirements.
• Use power tools, saws, hand tools, dowels, screws, and other fasteners.
• Attach door pulls and hardware and hang cabinet doors on frames.
• Install puck lighting, pole lighting, and other specified light fixtures.

Requirements

• Work experience in cabinetry, woodworking, trim carpentry, or another trade.
• Ability to measure accurately and build skillfully using basic and complex tools.
• Strong math, spatial, verbal communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to inspect, report, and correct minor defects or measuring errors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, reach, and work for prolonged periods.
• Ability to read plans and operate job-specific equipment, machines, motor vehicles, and hand tools.
