Tool Crib Assistant II - Hangar Liaison (Aerospace)

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; onsite role with significant standing, manual handling, and potentially hazardous or loud working conditions

Estimated starting salary: $22.95–$31.56 per hour

What you will do

• Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, maintenance, repair, and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, shortages, surplus, and obsolete inventory.
• Stage released kits, coordinate movement to the shop floor and hangars, and monitor workflow status.
• Pull parts for maintenance orders, coordinate material delivery, and facilitate urgent receiving and repair transfers.
• Review MO status, short-fill, PR/PO, and receiving reports and provide updates during planning meetings.
• Train and mentor Tool Crib Assistant I staff while supporting safety and operational compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a relevant technical or related field.
• Strong understanding of tool and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to maintain inventory records and manage stock levels.
• Basic knowledge of using, maintaining, and repairing hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Manufacturing or aerospace experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Experience with TCMax Asset Management Suite.
• Background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
