Maintenance Technician

Location: Ravena, New York, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Salary: $21–$23 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, site surveys, preventative maintenance, and work orders.
• Repair or replace doors, cabinets, furniture, windows, bathroom partitions, ceiling tiles, flooring, wall protection, and ceramic tiles.
• Troubleshoot electrical components, including fixtures, switches, ballasts, bulbs, and receptacles.
• Complete plumbing repairs and minor roofing, masonry, block, wall, and painting work.
• Respond to urgent issues such as leaks, power loss, and unsafe conditions.
• Support snow removal, de-icing, grounds maintenance, and the assembly, movement, and installation of equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certificate in building maintenance from a vocational or certified school.
• 3–5 years of building maintenance experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, self-starting, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally climb ladders or crawl under low spaces.
• Employment is subject to U.S. work authorization requirements; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Experience reading prints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Experience using industrial hand and power tools.
