Site Quality Manager (Midwest) (Solar)

Location: Full-time on-site jobsite in the Midwest Region; frequent travel to remote project locations is required. The posting also references San Diego, California, as the Renewable Group location.

Salary: $105,795–$132,244 per year.

What you will do

• Implement and manage the Site-Specific Quality Plan and support development of the project Inspection Test Plan.
• Lead site inspections, internal audits, process audits, and documentation audits across civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities.
• Identify and manage nonconformances and quality deficiencies, lead root cause analyses, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports, test results, and quality metrics for project and company leadership.
• Review subcontractor quality plans, audit subcontractor work, and verify that materials and equipment meet project specifications.
• Facilitate lessons-learned reviews and ensure compliance with contracts, manufacturer instructions, codes, and regulations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in utility-scale solar quality management.
• In-depth knowledge of utility-scale PV systems, civil construction, electrical and mechanical codes, and QA/QC methodologies.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore or Primavera P6, plus strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and work on-site at remote project locations for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, or Six Sigma.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
