Technical Writer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate the development and revision of engineering lab test procedures, work instructions, manuals, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering lab and product development teams to ensure publications are accurate, complete, clear, and current.
• Apply ANSI Z535 safety messaging standards to technical documentation.
• Manage publication approvals and revisions through the Global Data Portal and Change Control Document systems.
• Plan and conduct photo shoots to source images for procedures and work instructions.
• Track priorities and project hours using project management software such as LiquidPlanner.

Requirements

• College degree in English with a professional or technical writing concentration, Communications, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of technical writing experience, preferably in manufacturing or laboratory environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and critical deadlines.
• Willingness to work in an environment requiring personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
• Must already be authorized to work full time in the applicable country without employer-sponsored immigration support; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Acrobat.
• Interest in learning about hirify.global products.
