Assistant Health and Wellness Director (RN)

Location: Linwood, New Jersey, USA; onsite, full-time

Salary: Up to $92,000 yearly

What you will do

• Plan, organize, and direct clinical operations for the nursing department in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services.
• Develop and implement resident wellness programs with the Activity Director.
• Conduct resident assessments and create initial and comprehensive Individual Service Plans.
• Oversee nursing care, maintain resident documentation, and prepare resident charges and reports.
• Investigate resident and family concerns and ensure issues are resolved.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff; participate in a shared on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NY RN license in good standing.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled care.
• Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office, including Windows, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, and perform other physical duties required for resident care.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and properly support residents using safe body mechanics.
