Analyst (Capital Markets)

What you will do

• Support the syndication execution of investment grade debt, sub-investment grade debt, preferred and structured equity, and other hybrid instruments.
• Produce client-ready launch decks, lender presentations, investment committee memos, investor updates, and other PowerPoint materials.
• Build and maintain pricing analyses, comparable sets, term sheet comparisons, market data, and transaction reporting.
• Support senior syndication professionals in recommending and marketing transaction structures and terms.
• Track investor feedback, allocations, reverse inquiries, deal flow, and account activity.
• Maintain Salesforce and other data platforms, and identify opportunities to automate recurring workflows with internal AI tools.

Requirements

• One to three years of investment banking experience at a top-tier investment bank, including completion of a formal analyst training program.
• Bachelor’s degree required; finance, accounting, economics, or another quantitative discipline preferred.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills, with the ability to independently produce board- and investor-ready materials.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency and Bloomberg fluency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, work independently with limited oversight, and remain responsive in a deal-driven environment with unpredictable hours.

Nice to have

• Experience in Debt Capital Markets, private placements, leveraged finance, or on a syndicate desk.
• Exposure to credit financings, debt pricing, syndication execution, or hybrid and structured capital transactions.
• Familiarity with Capital IQ, Dealogic, LCD, PitchBook, Ipreo, or similar capital markets data tools.
• Experience with data management or AI-enabled platforms and workflows.
