Cooling Commissioning Engineer (Data Center Cooling)

Location: Helsinki, Finland; place of work in Finland, Italy, and the UK. Full-time rotation schedule of 3 weeks on and 1 week off, with international travel for 70% or more of working time.

What you will do

• Perform startup and commissioning across the full cooling product range.
• Analyze equipment installations, piping quality, hydraulic circuits, and operating conditions.
• Adjust cooling units to achieve optimal running conditions.
• Diagnose failures and determine whether root causes relate to quality, software, or operating conditions.
• Work with service engineers and partners during site interventions, documenting and handling defective parts appropriately.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and train customers in basic equipment operation.

Requirements

• University degree in mechanical or electrotechnical engineering.
• At least 5 years of commissioning or field-service repair experience with HVAC or cooling equipment.
• Proven experience with air-cooling systems and air- or water-cooled chillers.
• Experience with HVAC, generators, and fire detection or suppression systems.
• Fluent English communication at B2 level or higher is mandatory.
• Technical attention to detail, customer focus, reliability, teamwork, and leadership skills; proficiency with MS Office, Acrobat, and AutoCAD.
