Program Manager F/M/X (Medtech)

Location: Lyon, France — onsite, full-time

Global manufacturer of complex drug delivery systems and ophthalmic devices for the pharmaceutical industry, with development, industrialization, and manufacturing capabilities.

What you will do

• Lead life cycle management for a flagship ophthalmic platform from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate R&D, Quality, Industrialization, Purchasing, Finance, design, plant, customer, and supplier stakeholders.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks; implement mitigation plans and escalate critical issues.
• Contribute to project strategy, technical decisions, supplier selection, and governance processes.
• Lead project reviews, steering committees, customer reviews, and status meetings.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, profitability, CapEx, OpEx, quotations, and financial risks.

Requirements

• Engineering degree.
• Experience in project management within R&D, innovation, product development, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of planning, risk management, reporting, budgeting, and project governance.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a matrix organization through influence rather than hierarchy.
• Strong prioritization, execution, communication, recommendation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and French required.

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
