Electrical Maintenance Technician (Level 6)

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and lead maintenance activities for assigned high-speed manufacturing lines.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical and mechanical equipment issues.
• Support AC/DC electrical systems, power distribution, industrial wiring, and manufacturing equipment.
• Evaluate line performance and implement reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain equipment records and documentation in SAP and other maintenance systems.
• Coordinate with operations, planning, engineering, safety, quality, and training teams during repairs, shift transitions, and technical development activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Advanced electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, electrical safety, Arc Flash, National Electrical Code, and basic Ohm’s Law principles.
• Expert-level SAP proficiency and Level 6 Electrical Skills certification, or the ability to meet Level 6 standards.
• Minimum aggregate score of 58 or higher on hands-on and Ramsay assessments.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings and use VOMs, Meggers, and related diagnostic tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-speed food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environments.
• Experience with reliability programs, root cause analysis, A3 investigations, and preventive or predictive maintenance.
• Training, mentoring, team leadership, maintenance planning, or scheduling experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, downtime reduction, continuous improvement, and reliability strategies.
