What you will do

• Support a Windows Active Directory migration from Windows Server 2003/2008 to Windows Server 2012 or the latest version.
• Develop, test, and implement migration strategies with Server Operations, application, and middleware teams.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, including architecture, replication, domain controllers, and Group Policy Objects.
• Implement STIG settings across file and print services, DNS, domain controllers, application servers, and Windows operating systems.
• Build, configure, and manage Windows servers in multi-tenant enterprise and datacenter environments.
• Use virtualization, scripting, backup, networking, and security-scanning technologies to maintain enterprise infrastructure.

Requirements

• Current CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Current or obtainable SECRET security clearance required.
• At least three years of experience in desktop engineering, Windows systems, Active Directory, or related infrastructure administration.
• MCSE or MCSA certification and experience with the Remedy ARS ticketing system.
• Experience with Windows migrations, Active Directory upgrades, GPOs, STIG deployment, Windows Server, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including communication with government customers and senior government leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware, SCCM methodologies, enterprise backup software, PowerShell or VB automation, shell scripting, and physical-to-virtual migrations.
• ITIL v3 Foundations certification.
• Experience with LAN/WAN and wireless interfaces, web servers, databases, cabling, installations, migrations, and security-scanning tools.
